Description: FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) is a nonprofit educational association of student members preparing for careers in business.  During the course of the year, you will have the opportunity to hear great speakers, participate in community service projects, attend our annual Fall Rally in Perry, compete against other high schools all over the state, attend leadership conferences and much more!  


Meeting Times and Locations: Dates subject to change; Meetings are announced via email for existing members and electronic message boards for everyone; check email regularly (current members only) and watch electronic message boards 3 pm-3:20 pm; Room 400


Club Dues for the Year: $28 without an FBLA t-shirt and $42 with an FBLA t-shirt


Other Information: FBLA has over 250,000 members in the US, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, US Territories, Haiti, Canada, and China.  Membership is open to all students who are interested in pursuing a business or business-related career.  Participating in competitive events, becoming an officer, applying for scholarships, discovering and learning about your specific career path, networking with students from around the United States, and having fun are opportunities provided for every FBLA member.  It also looks great on a college application.

Competitive Events Reference   

Fall Motivational Rally (Rally) Dates and Deadlines:

  • Dues Eligibility Deadline: September 8, 2016
  • When: Thursday, October 13, 2016
  • Where: GA National Fairgrounds & Agricenter, Perry, GA
  • How much: $65 (includes registration fee, rides wristband, and transportation)

Fall Leadership Conference (FLC) Dates and Deadlines (sign up early for the Monopoly Tournament):

  • Dues Eligibility Deadline: September 30, 2016
  • Registration Deadline: October 6, 2016
  • When: November 16-17, 2016 (we will leave after school on November 16th; you will only miss 1 day of school)
  • Where: Classic Center, Athens, GA
  • How much: $50 + $6/person for Monopoly Tournament
  • Hotel accommodations and price: TBD

Region Leadership Conference (RLC) Dates and Deadlines:

  • Dues Eligibility Deadline: October 31, 2016
  • Registration Deadline: November 15, 2016
  • Skills Testing (deadline is November 1st; testing is November 28 - December 7): not participating in this area
  • Online Testing: at BT in room 400, November/December, 2016 TBD 3pm-5pm
  • Region Leadership Conference and Performance Testing
    • When: January 11-31, 2017, specific date and time: TBD
    • Transportation: BT bus
    • Where: TBD
    • How much: $25 (includes a meal)

    • Registration fees:
      $70 (registration),
           and $90 (late registration)

    • Hotel charges: Hotel charges are NOT included in the registration fee

    National Leadership Conference (NLC) Dates and Deadlines:

    • Institute for Leaders:  June 28-29, 2017
